Overview
The Heavenly Twins Range built and designed by Pat Patterson was one of the greats in the history of catamarans, built in the UK competing with the Likes of Prout, Catalac, Solaris, Iroquois all built in the UK.
A well proven seaworthy design and able to fit down the Canal de Midi and pop out the other side in the Mediterranean and over the years we have had a few of these catamarans sail through our hands, two of them purchased in the UK, both by Australians, who did just that one stayed in the Med and the other bought by another Australian, who went back through the canals to the UK and married an English girl, who he met on the way! I saw one of them in Cartagena mainland Spain a couple of years ago still going strong.
Not the fastest catamaran on the market, but faster than many monohulls, and sure they do not point to windward like a gunboat, but a great livaboard that sails, great for the Med or coastal cruising, sharing the same view as that Gunboat!
A GREAT PROJECT!
This is an unfinished project which we are always being asked about. All the hard work has been done by the look of the photographs, lying in a yard in Belgium. Looks like the interior has been ripped out and equipment has been replaced and now needs re-trimming and looks a great project for someone who wants to get out on the water and an awesome project for the winter.
It’s worth 12,000 Euro of anyones money!
Get engines running take it under power to where ever you like and finish it in the water or stay in the yard where it is.
You can find a lot about these sturdy little catamarans on the internet, a couple of reviews below, but there is plenty more out there….
THIS IS NOT THE BOAT FOR SALE BELOW, but worth a read!

The 1977 Heavenly Twins 26 sailing catamaran was constructed by Boydcode Ltd. in Cornwall. Originally delivered to the Netherlands, the vessel is known for its spacious accommodations, shallow draft, center cockpit, and suitability for coastal cruising and European inland waterways. This boat is an unfinished restoration project, with a stripped interior requiring completion and retrimming. The documentation includes a builder's certificate, original purchase records, and manuals, proving its rich history. Potential buyers should inspect the vessel for current condition and verify machinery, rig, and equipment.
