Blue Coast 95-1 "Mashua Bluu" is an ocean-going luxury sailing catamaran designed by Jean-Jacques Coste. It is the sister ship of the Blue Coast 92 "Rafoly" with a different transom design. Description
The Blue Coast 95-1 is a three-deck catamaran with sloop rigging. It has the comfort level of a motor yacht with the speed and emotion of a fast-sailing yacht with a total sail area of 650 sqm. The good performances under 2 engines of 420 hp each allow a high cruising speed for long distance cruising.
With a length of 29 metres, a beam of 13 metres and a displacement of around 70 tons, the Blue Coast 95-1 is an outstanding sailing yacht—elegant, coherent and homogeneous. One of the best sailing catamarans on the sea and the perfect platform to enjoy a unique pleasure at sea.
The shallow draft allows anchoring in the immediate vicinity of sandy beaches, but above all it opens up new cruising grounds that were previously inaccessible to yachts of this size. Safety, privacy and space are important advantages for family use or charter.
The overall width of the yacht is kept in reasonable proportions to allow access in most marinas. The bridge deck has a high clearance from the water to eliminate wave pounding. The considerable covered living area is almost 150m².
Construction
Hulls, deck, deckhouse and the entire structure are built from certified Sealium® aluminium. Safe, strong, reliable and robust! The result is a stable, homogeneous and torsion-resistant structure without any annoying creaking noises. Every Blue Coast Yachts aluminium catamaran is equipped with continuous, highly effective and sustainable insulation.
The bow tips can be designed as a negative stem to extend the waterline and allow for wave piercing: When waves come from the front, the catamaran is not lifted, it does not pitch and therefore does not lose speed.
Flybridge & Main Deck
On the flybridge, which invites you to relax, you can enjoy the whirlpool to cool off. With movable sunbathing areas, which also provide for a dining group, one has a free all-round view. Of course, there is a wet bar and barbecue. Forward is the central helm station and winches for sail control.
To starboard in the saloon a cosy lounge area and a large dining area for 10 people to port. In the front centre the TV with large screen. In the front area, the catamaran's control centre with the inside steering position, the navigation and communication centre, equipped with a comfortable sofa to watch the course with an unobstructed view of the sea or to look over the captain's shoulder.
The covered stern lounge is a coveted spot to dine, relax, celebrate with guests and friends. An outdoor bar/kitchen provides additional comfort. The comfortable sofa is a great place to enjoy a sundowner and daydream. The dining table comfortably seats 10 for dinners, snacks, wine tastings and all other pleasures. The hydraulic stern platform provides access to numerous aqua toys as well as the tender.
Guest Accommodation
In the cabin deck forward to port are the crew quarters with a crew cabin, a captain's cabin and a large bathroom. Behind, the galley and 2 cabins sharing 1 bathroom. To starboard 3 double cabins each with en-suite bathroom.
Available with traditional diesel engines or with the innovative electric hybrid system "Green ECO Power" with electric engines.
